EveryWoman Day: Shining a Light on Women’s Health

EveryWoman Day is an annual UK awareness day dedicated to women’s health—particularly the issues that too often go unnoticed or misunderstood. From endometriosis and menopause to bladder health and emotional wellbeing, the campaign invites open conversation about the challenges women face throughout their lives.

What makes EveryWoman Day powerful is its focus on real voices and real stories. Women—and anyone who supports them—are encouraged to share their personal journeys, photos, insights, or even “belly selfies.” These belly selfies often feature words, drawings, or symbols that represent health struggles, helping others to recognise symptoms and feel less alone.

By bringing these experiences into the open, EveryWoman Day works to break down stigma, build empathy, and encourage earlier recognition of symptoms that might otherwise be dismissed. It’s about creating a culture where women feel heard, supported, and empowered to take charge of their health.

This day is more than an awareness campaign—it’s a movement of solidarity, visibility, and change. Every story shared is a step toward better understanding, better care, and a future where no woman feels silenced about her body.

Because every woman’s story matters.
